The Chhatarpur Temple, also known as the Shri Adhya Katyani Shakti Peeth Mandir, is located in the south-western part of Delhi, India. It is dedicated to Goddess Katyayani, a part of Navadurga, and is considered to be the second largest temple complex in India after the Akshardham Temple in Delhi. The temple sprawls over 60 acres and features a blend of North Indian and South Indian architectural styles. The main deity, Katyayani Devi, is enshrined in the sanctum sanctorum, which is carved out of marble and is an imposing and serene sight. The complex has over 20 small and large temples divided across three different complexes. The temple's elaborate design and intricate carvings are exemplary of traditional Indian temple architecture. It becomes a focal point for pilgrims during the Navaratras, a nine-night festival celebrated twice a year with great fervor. The atmosphere here is always charged with bhajans (devotional songs) and the sounds of bells.
