Lodhi Gardens is a city park situated in New Delhi, India. Spanning over 90 acres, it contains, alongside beautiful landscaped lawns, several historical monuments of the 15th century derived from the Sayyid and Lodhi dynasties. The vast gardens are a popular spot for morning walks among the Delhiites and also serve as a venue for weekend picnics. The monuments within the Lodhi Gardens include the Tomb of Sikander Lodhi, Shisha Gumbad, and Bara Gumbad, showcasing the architectural works of the Lodhi era. The gardens are characterized by their tranquility away from city noise, having many well-designed and maintained pathways, jogging tracks, and a variety of plant species. The National Bonsai Park is also a part of Lodhi Gardens. Besides its historical and architectural significance, the park is an eco-habitat for numerous birds and is a favorite spot among bird watchers. The park's ancient waterways, ponds, and fountains that once drew from the Yamuna river, add to the serenity of the ambience. Moreover, it is a cultural hub with various events taking place, such as yoga sessions, art installations, and performances.

A Peaceful place to escape
Beautiful gardens and a real escape from the Delhi buzz. The serenity is a joy and we were so glad we walked, enjoyed and relaxed in the gardens, which weren't that busy.
