Best Time To Visit Lodhi Gardens (Delhi) In 2026 - 2027

Lodhi Gardens, nestled in the heart of Delhi, India, is one of the city's most picturesque parks, famed for its historical monuments, diverse flora, and tranquil ambience. The best time to visit Lodhi Gardens is from October to March. During these months, the weather in Delhi is at its most pleasant, making it ideal for exploring the gardens' expansive grounds. This period witnesses the transition from the warm monsoon season to a cooler, more comfortable climate. Temperatures range from a maximum of 20-25°C to a minimum of 8-15°C. The cool weather is perfect for picnics, leisurely strolls, photography, and soaking in the rich heritage of the garden's ancient monuments without the discomfort of the intense heat that characterizes the Delhi summer.

Visitors should consider planning their trip around the early morning or late afternoon hours to fully enjoy the garden’s natural beauty. Morning hours, especially, are magical, as the soft sunlight filters through the trees, casting a golden hue over the tombs and ruins. It is also a time when the garden brims with active joggers and nature enthusiasts, adding to the lively atmosphere. Late afternoons offer a respite from the day's mild warmth and are crowned by mesmerizing sunsets, providing an enchanting backdrop to the garden's historical edifices. Avoid visiting during midday as even winter afternoons in Delhi can be relatively warm, diminishing the pleasure of leisure activities.
