Best Time To Visit Connaught Place (Delhi) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Connaught Place, Delhi

One of the quintessential experiences of visiting Delhi is exploring Connaught Place, the heart of the city's commercial and culinary offerings. The best time to visit Connaught Place is during the autumn and winter months, from October to March. During this period, the weather in Delhi is at its most pleasant, with cooler temperatures ranging from 8 to 24 degrees Celsius (46 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit). These conditions are perfect for wandering around the open-air colonnades of Connaught Place, shopping, dining outdoors, and enjoying the various cultural events that often take place in this central hub.

Visitors should note that the summer months, from April to June, can be extremely hot, with temperatures soaring above 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), which might not be comfortable for outdoor activities. Likewise, the monsoon season that typically runs from late June until September brings with it high humidity and sporadic heavy rains, which can disrupt plans for the day. Consequently, to fully appreciate the charm and vibrant atmosphere of Connaught Place without the extreme heat or the unpredictability of the monsoon, planning your visit in the cooler season is strongly recommended.
