Best Time To Visit Agrasen Ki Baoli (Delhi) In 2026 - 2027

Agrasen ki Baoli, also known as Ugrasen ki Baodi, is a historical stepwell located in the heart of New Delhi, India. If you are planning a visit, the best time to visit Agrasen ki Baoli is from October to March when the weather is comparably cooler and pleasant. During these months, the temperatures range from a comfortable 12°C to 30°C, perfect for exploring outdoor monuments. Delhi experiences extreme weather, with scorching summers and chilly winters. Hence, visiting in the pleasant transition period of autumn or winter will provide you with a much more comfortable experience.

Visiting early in the morning or late in the afternoon can also be particularly rewarding, as these times avoid the harsh midday sun and offer a soft natural light ideal for photography. Moreover, the site is less crowded, conferring a peaceful atmosphere that lets you appreciate the ancient architecture without the distractions of heavy tourist traffic. Avoid visiting during monsoons (July to September), as the rain may make the steps slippery and difficult to navigate. The Baoli is open from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM all days of the week, and there is no entry fee, making it an accessible sight for all to enjoy.
